I don’t even know where to begin with all the thoughts running through my mind….We all have kicked “our own” dirt & I for one don’t know anyone who’s in a position to throw stones. Karrine had the balls to put the artists we have grown to adore in the entertainment industry—She’s no victim, NO MORE than any of the men who chose to have sexual relations with her. Have any of you guys ever been in any of the situations that she explain that she has been in (being raped at a young age?? Letting an older man control you because you feel that it’s love or it’s what you need at that time??? I have read Ms. Steffans’ book, and I have NOTHING but respect for this woman. Can any of u fine people say that u have published a book with all of ur most private and lowdown secrets for everyone in the world to judge and ridicule? It takes a strong and secure person to completely expose themselves; whether her purpose was for revenge, money, or a combination of both. I will say, however, that the biggest loser in this whole mess is her precious son, who will perpetually be entangled in a web of sex, drugs, and utter mayhem, simply because of his pedigree. I agree just a little of everyone’s comments.
1) yes she did have terrible things happen to her in her past that I, personally could never understand, but the decision did lie with her as to how she would handle herself in the future. Her rapist did not force her to do what she did in her adult life; especially since I have read that she was quite the intelligent young lady.
2) I also agree with what was said with respect to her son and the wives of these celebrities with which she has had encounters. Her poor child must, if not for the rest of his life,, for a good while live with the brand of his mother’s mistakes, being the son of “Superhead”. Also, the wives of these womanizers must deal with the embarrassment of their husbands’ infidelity.
3) Last, but not least, I can’t say that I whole heartedly support this action of a damaged black woman, for I do disagree with what she’s done, I, nor anyone else on this earth can stand in judgement for her and she is the only one who can answer for the decisions she made. My only hope is that maybe, even though her intentions very well may not be sincere, that this will help some little girl out there who is contemplating activities that could lead her down a similar path.

I was so please with Karrine’s book, Confessions of a Video Vixen. She has experienced a journey that has changed her life. She is taking responsibility of her own life. She has never pointed the finger to the former celebrities she’s been with. Instead she acknowledges the fact that she made those choices and she said, “She suffered a great deal from her choices.” I think people forget we are all humane. It takes great courage to have her testimony revealed in a book. Black women in particular suffer from so much hate and anger. Self hate is african american number one destruction. Black men degrade and hurt their women. Instead of putting the middle finger up at her, think about yourselves. I think people need to stop playing like their god and learn to have some compassion. Life is about forgiving and moving forward. She discover her mistakes her mission is to allow young women to chose a positive path that will elevate their character. I know I’m about building my character and having compassion with others as well as myself. Love yourself and others.

I honestly believe that no matter what your up bringing, some limits don’t have to be taken. People these days are so caught up on the glam and glory, nobody is happy with just the necessities in life. Ms. Superhead had a terrible up brining, yes that is very unfortunate. However, there are so many young ladies in the world who have had it way worse, and they didn’t run and sleep with every nigga with a dollar hangin out is pocket, to live sufficiently. The problem with these young people today is everybody wants to get rich quick. there are also alternatives to every situation, and I find it very hard to believe that a young woman like herself (without children to take care of you mind as well say), couldn’t survive without running around like a hoe. I can speak because I am a living example, I have my phd in pharmacy now, and I had my daughter in high school. Both my parents were crack attacks, and me and my sibles had no family but each other. I know the matrial in the book was explosive but the fact is she doesnt do that stuff anymore. Besides everyone writes books about their lives for money even celebs we admire even some in the book. To each it’s own. If she feels that she needs to validate herself by sleeping with successful men and writing about it, then so be it. She is just another example of how not to live your life. Everyone makes mistakes and bad choices, but to deliberately put yourself out there like that, she was asking for trouble. Thank God she hasn’t made anyone sick (I hope!) or had a bunch of illegitimate children. Even though she is wrong for putting other people’s business out in public, I just hope she has learned from ALL her experiences. I just hope that all you other promiscuous ladies out here can learn a thing or two from her book. If your gonna fuck a lot, at least let the guys be rich. OK everyone has their opinions and we cannot judge. but first she said she did it for her son but she did not admit to Ray J that she had a son. She kept it from him. Second she say she wrote the book to help other girls so why did she have to name people? Yes the men were stupid and dogs but she did not have to dog herself like that. First of all I just finished reading the book and all I have to say is haters stop hating. We come into this world for one purpose to live and die. What we choose and how we choose to live our lives is up to us. Remember only GOD can judge us. What others have to say is irrelevant. Karrine means of survival was to sleep her way to the top and thats exactly what she did. Who are we to condemn her. Many women have slept with several men and end up with nothing. She on the other hand got paid for her sexual encounters. Men have been sleeping with multiple women at a time all so be called “THE MAN” and get their props for sleeping around. BOTTOM LINE!! We all were whores at some point in life(women & men). MOST OF US ARE JUST TOO SCARED TO ADMIT IT(of course men thinks it’s a trade).All men and women were whores in some way in order to become who we are today(wether you admit it or deny it, it’s true). You know it, GOD knows it and I know it. We all did things that we eventually regret and unfortunately have to live with it for the rest of our lives.
