The Diet for Teenagers Only by Barbara Schroeder and Carrie Wiatt

Filed under: Health & Nutrition — Cath @ 9:24 am

In this health guide for girls aged 13 to 19, authors Barbara Schroeder and Carrie Wiatt write to their young readers in a friendly and helpful manner. Schroeder and Wiatt point out facts such as, gaining weight as a result of puberty, the cons of diet soda, and the pros of carbs. Rather than establishing an ideal weight range, this book emphasizes a body reality check using Body Mass Index (BMI). Low-fat recipes and helpful tips on eating out (including vending machines) help direct young girls to develop a healthy lifestyle.

The publisher of The Diet for Teenagers Only is Regan Books by HarperCollins Publishing.
